How to access the online services of the Revenue Agency

Access for individuals

The online services can be accessed through one of the three universal authentication methods, valid for using the online services of all public authorities:

Citizens who have difficulties or are unable to access the reserved area may delegate a relative or a trusted person to do so.

Access for cross-border users with a digital ID (Login eIDAS)

Cross-border users with a European digital ID (eIDAS identity), issued by a non-Italian identity provider, can use the Revenue Agency’s service available under the Single Digital Gateway (Regulation (EU) 2018/1724).

The eIDAS regulation is the legislative basis for electronic interactions between businesses, citizens and public authorities, improving the security and efficiency of online services and e-business transactions in the European Union.

Access for representatives or trusted persons

Trusted persons
Taxpayers who have difficulties or are unable to access the information and services in the reserved area of the Revenue Agency’s website may ask for a trusted person to be given access and to act on their behalf, in accordance with the Order of the Director of the Revenue Agency of 17 April 2023 (IT). Individuals may designate only one trusted person.
Trusted persons act independently of any professional or business activity they may carry out.
Requests for authorising trusted persons to use online services or to cancel such authorisation can be submitted using the form attached to the Order (IT). The authorisation is valid until 31 December of the year indicated by the person concerned in the application.

Representatives (legal guardians, special trustees, court-appointed guardians taking care of the affairs of those incapable of looking after themselves, parents of minors)
Legal guardians, special trustees, court-appointed guardians taking care of the affairs of those incapable of looking after themselves and parents of minors may ask to be authorised to access online services on behalf of the persons they represent, in accordance with the provisions of the Order of the Director of 19 May 2022.

Access for professionals and businesses

Professionals and businesses in possession of Entratel, Fisconline and Sister credentials, issued by the Agency, will be able to continue using them after 1 March and until a date to be established by a specific implementing decree, as provided for in the Digital Administration Code.
Natural persons must identify themselves before they can work for the companies and/or entities for which they have been authorised. From 1 October 2021, they will only be able to do so with SPID or CIE or CNS, unless they have a VAT number.

Requesting a PIN

To use some functions of the software products, which can be downloaded free of charge from the Agency's website, you need a PIN code. Those who identify themselves with SPID, CIE or CNS can still request their PIN code in the reserved area.
